For how long can you sit with your pain? Therein lies the path to your enlightenment.
I’ve noticed between many of my meditation students, that the first thing they complain about and reject is pain.
When they start, they focus on physical pain —which results from trying to hold the posture.
As they progress into the art of meditation, they focus on the mental thoughts that are causing their pain.
The more we walk together, the more they resist to face the pain in the body, in the mind, in the heart.
The same happens with my healees, who resist facing painful memories during their processes.
But then, this is exactly where their biggest gift lies.
Aversion to pain holds us stuck in a downward spiral, repeating itself over and over again, through our unconscious choices.
The only way to stop the cycle is allowing pain to safely show us the way.
Today, I would like you to sit with your pain, unconditionally, for as long as you can, while you listen to its message, and embrace your little child within while you do it.
And when the day ends, to close your eyes before you go to sleep, and imagine I’m traveling all the way to where you are in an instant, to sit there with you, hold your hand while you allow the pain to speak to you, while you heal and acknowledge your greatness.
Pain is a master teacher. We’ve all run from it at some point. But the only way out, is through.
Give me a 💝 below if you’re ready to allow your pain to show you the way to your true power.
