What does health mean for you?

When you hear the word “health”, what comes to mind?


Everyone has their own ideas of what it means to be healthy:

  • Some may look at numbers on a chart.

  • Others would focus on the presence or lack of disease.

  • For some it may be about a state of mind.

  • While others may look at what they eat to determine if they are healthy.

What if I tell you that all of these are correct?


The thing is, focusing on just one aspect of health will ultimately limit your understanding of it and your ability to achieve it.


There is no one way to optimal health.


What do I mean by this?


Health is integrative:

Optimal health sometimes requires a blend of conventional and alternative modalities that work together to maintain wellness and heal and prevent illness in your mind, body, and spirit.


Health is multidimensional:

Health is holistic and extends into all aspects of your-Self –from your physical body to your mental health and felt emotions to your deepest spiritual needs.

These aspects of your health –physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual– are interconnected and influence one another in many ways along your journey to whole-person health.


Health is bioindividual:

Everyone has different needs and is unique in what supports their individual health and happiness.

Your needs will change over time, so continually adjusting your approach to health and lifestyle is necessary.


That is why there is no one-size-fits-all answer, there is no right or wrong.


We all have unique needs that will change over the course of our lifetime.


After following my Health Coaching program, these are some of the things my clients have reported as key to developing their healthy lifestyle:

✳ Staying hydrated by drinking water instead of sugared beverages.

✳ Exercising regularly and being physically active.

✳ Reducing sitting and screen time.

✳ Getting enough deep sleep.

✳ Finding healthy ways to manage their emotions.

✳ Eating a balanced, healthy diet, by adding variety and increasing home-cooked meals.

✳ Fostering healthier relationships with their family and friends.

✳ Protecting themselves from sun exposure.

✳ Spending more time in nature.

✳ Reducing the consumption of alcohol and tobacco.


In my practice, we view health as an “opportunity” to heal and nourish the mind, body, and soul in all the ways you need over time, to live in alignment with your purpose and beliefs, to transform every area of your life, and to experience vitality so you can give your gifts to others.


We do this by taking an integrative approach to health and wellbeing, integrating science and spirit, intellect and intuition, experience and innovation.


We look at the body’s interconnected systems, we focus on the root causes, not just the symptoms you refer, we investigate factors that trigger and perpetuate health issues, we explore how knowing your health history will help you heal.


We also consider the importance of personalized nutrition and the interplay between food, lifestyle, social, and environmental factors by blending modern health modalities in addition to ancient, complementary and alternative health philosophies including Ayurveda, TCM, Homoeopathy, Naturopathy, etc.


By working together, you will learn not only tangible evidence and action-based strategies to support health, but also to tap into the innate inteligence of your body and take a holistic multidimensional approach that considers body, mind, and spirit.


You will learn to use your intuition to guide you in your journey toward healing so you can live in alignment with your full potential.


No matter where your health journey is starting, or where it takes you, I will encourage you to honor your bio individuality and the unique path you need to follow.


You already have great potential inside you.


As a trained healthcare professional, I will help you awaken that potential.


As you move through the 12 sessions in my Health Coaching program, you’ll get deeper insights into your own wellness, become more perceptive of the nutrition and lifestyle behaviours that feel best for your body, and maybe even redefine what you believe to be healthy, by embracing your own truth and reclaiming your own power to transform your-Self and the world around you.
